In 2018, I left my job in book publishing and moved from Brooklyn to Alabama ahead of the midterms.

Unexpectedly, I fell in love with the state and decided to stay, work in progressive politics, and complete a master’s in journalism.

My hope is to write and share meaningful, relatable stories that make us all feel more connected and less alone.
